Seems you don't know the answer or unwilling to speak about it.

What it seems like is that ya'll like to try to put parameters in place so you can start your little systematic "I'm gonna tear that notion down" attacks. So I don't waste my time.

That's what a Secret Mormon would do, not speak about it and chastise others for asking.

Then just call me a Mormon because I know the way ya'll work. So do your own work and come up with your own definitions. And I'll continue to laugh at the left's ability to try and redefine everything in order to try and make their points.

I know the difference, and you guy's who purport in knowing something about capitalism should know too.

So if you know the difference what are you asking for other than to get someone else to say something and then you pounce?^_^

Obama wasn't in the discussion, but maybe we should ask "W" on how to bail out Wall St predators.

Naah. You come out better asking Barry and his friend George Soros.

It was a real easy simple question, seems you don't want to speak about it.

Yep, I knew it. You haven't any answers but many critiques. Glad to see you coming out of the secret closet of book of Mormon, admitting you have a problem is the first step. Best of luck with that. :D

If you've already got the definition, what is there to speak about?^_^

That's so cute. Glad I'm not one who has to prove anything to anyone. You'll have to try that on someone else. Just too funny.^_^

Again, you can throw out all the titles you like and it isn't gonna make me play the little game. I've told ya'll countless times, you don't get to frame the conversation with me. Save that lil trick for someone else.

In the 2008 campaign you boys ran with secret Muslim, under cover terrorist, etc. Now the chickens have come home to roost in your lap. Secret Mormons are coming out of hiding, and embracing Romney as some kind of modern day Joey Smith.
Smith lied and so does Romney.

Gosh, I didn't vote for Bush in 2004 because of something he said TWICE. Didn't vote for McCain in 2008. And won't be voting for Romney in 2012.

So I don't know to what boys you are referring.^_^ maybe you need to worry about how easy it is for folks who say they are Christians to throw their support behind that lying anti-Christ that's currently in the White House?

Translation: There isn't any link to back up your disinformation campaign so admit you lost and try again later.

The Proper Translation:You don't know what you're talking about when it comes to Capital Gains and are lacking comprehension skills so no one should waste their time.

Zack, you obviously cannot post any link that supports your position. You have lied publicly about how capital gains and dividends are taxed and I pray that one day you will be enough of a man (and a Christian) to admit it.

What's the difference of capitalism and predator capitalism?
The question is a misnomer. Predatory capitalism does not exist in the US. You're asking me to comment on a European phenomenon. US predatory capitalism is a figment of US liberals' imaginations.

Capitalism is not sustainable. No more so that socialism or communism. Infinite growth is an impossibility. In the end, America will change its ways or cease to exist as we know it. Making it out to be some sort of in line with the word of God nonsense, won't change that.

Here in the good old USA we have investors who wish to invest to produce to earn more profits. We also have investor's who use hostile take-overs in preying upon companies to loot, plunder and exploit for personal gain and not to produce a product or service. Two terms are used to define this type of investor/firm. Predatory Capitalism and Vulture Capitalism.

Warren Buffet points out that...
a real difference between investing and building a company that makes something or provides a service that adds value to the economy, and a barbarian-at-the-gate-style enterprise that loots and strips, making millions for its executives by ripping holes in the economic fabric.

Romney knows both approaches, he likes to fire people, and cut & gut.
Remember, Corporations are people, the SCOTUS and Romney say so.

Capitalism is not sustainable.
It's been around for 5,000 years. How is that not "sustainable"? That's a ridiculous statement.
Infinite growth is an impossibility.
Another misnomer. Growth is not the key to capitalism. Balance is the key to capitalism. Hence, we have economic corrections periodically. Inflation, recession, even depression, are the corrections that are natural to the system. Of course infinite growth is impossible. But it also isn't the objective or the fuel that drives capitalism. You apparently don't understand economics.
In the end, America will change its ways or cease to exist as we know it.
I have not doubt it will, but not because capitalism will fail. The reason the US will eventually fail is because we have lost our moral compass, have wandered far from the Christian values upon which this country was founded, and we are allowing our values to be replaced with the unworkable, ungodly values of the natural man. Sadly, we will do nothing about it, and then it will be too late.
Making it out to be some sort of in line with the word of God nonsense, won't change that.
"Word of God nonsense"? And you're a Christian? Hm ...

Our population is significantly different than 5000 years ago. We are now at the peak of everything. Capitalism has survived because there was plenty of room for growth. We don't have that room for growth anymore. Nothing grows forever, that's the laws of nature. We're over populated and we have reached peak resourses and without those resources, most notably oil, everything will collapse. It's inevitable. When capitalism (infinite growth) runs smack into finite resources, everything will crash. We're actually seeing this today.

Now your right, balance is required to maintain the status quo but capitalism isn't based on balance. It's based on growth because we are greedy humans and we breed like a virus. And since there is no way to control population growth, there is no way to maintain balance without exponential growth and as I've said you can only grow so far. Do you think our current economic situation is simply based on bad policies in Washington? Naive thinking at best. It's way bigger than washington or any one president. Capitalism is really just one big ponzie scheme and it's catching up to us quick.

Yes, I'm a Christian and what I meant by that was I don't personally believe capitalism or any ism is a godly or biblical principle that Jesus would subscribe too. We are not to be of this world and if money is the root of all evil than capitalism is Satan himself. We've been tricked into thinking capitalism is what matters but it actually separates us from God and keeps us attached to the things of the world.

These are just my thoughts and opinions. We can debate but no need to get judgmental on me.

Yes, those are good points. Also, I think in terms of resources vs. consumerism.

With the growing middle-class in countries such as China, India, and others, resources are becoming scarce. Oil, for example. As a strong middle-class develops more automobiles are made and sold, more metal, rubber and fuel is needed. (just a few listed materials).

Diminishing resources plus increase in consumerism does not sustain a capitalistic economy. my thought.

That's exactly right.

This is a global killer and since oil is traded on the world market, we'll all go down about the same time. Oil is the number one resource that will bring this thing to a head. Thats why everyone is fighting for it. Iraq anyone?

Many people just look at oil as fuel for cars but even if we had electric cars, it won't matter. It will only slightly slow the inevitable, plus, electricity is not an energy source. All plastic and paints are made from oil. Probably thousands of gallons just to make one car. There's about 7 gallons of oil in every tire and that just talking about automobiles.

When you really get your head wrapped around the realities, you see that not only is this collapse inevitable, it's rate of decline increases everyday. For me, it makes it clearer why Jesus told us to not worry about the things of the world. Don't worry about what you'll wear or what you'll eat. He knew what man was going to do to itself. There are consequences to everything.

What you have obviously done is shown that you don't know what you're talking about. But I'm used to liberals not knowing what they are talking about when it comes to economics or finances.

Zack, you obviously cannot post any link that supports your position.

What position? I'm speak fact. It's not my fault that you don't understand how capital gains are taxed. ^_^
