If these videos are meant in jest, then disregard my comments. But it seems they are meant to showcase the shortcomings of the President. I only watched the first two, just so you know what I am commenting on.

Regardless of our feelings for the President.

He is a human being, people make mistakes. Just because he is the President does not mean he will not make a Freudian slip every now and then. As for the teleprompter incident where he needed it to speed up, I do not see that as a problem. The man is making a speech, you can not expect him to memorize it all, and a teleprompter is alot easier then note cards.

Plus you call him a puppet. Simply because he follows a pre written speech? That is ludicrous. Any time I am making a presentation I write out notes so I know what I am going to say. He may have speech writers but that does not make him a puppet.

Funny, when Sarah Palin wrote on her hand to remind her of something while giving a speech, we never heard the end of it. She was called every name in the book. And all forms of "stupid" was applied. No one gave her the benefit of the doubt--admired the hand memo instead of the more expensive teleprompter, or thought that that was a little "hint" taught in public speaking, or thought "well may she had "jet lag" and needed a reminder, or thought was up late with Trig or had a head ache or ... But when Obama flubs (even with his expensive telepromter) all sorts of excuses are made for him.

Honestly, can't you see that "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" and as has been clearly shown here the teleprompter can't save Obama from everything.

Yep. Obama is the only one that people think should never be criticized. It's scary because it makes me think of how no one in Jonestown could criticize Jim Jones. And then it was too late for them. If Democrats want to stop being criticized they need to stop criticizing Republicans.

I've seen Obama give talks to audiences without the use of a tle-prompter, and he did very well. Yes, he's made some gaffs, but so do all presidents.

Fact is, Obama's gaffs don't come near to the national embarassment of his predicessor, George Bush.

Says the cheerleader of the Obama fan club. Actually Obama has had many gaffes that the news either under-reports or makes excuses.

The ones with our great ally Great Britain, are particularly cringe-worthy: trying to act like the Queen was just a touchy-feely American, failure to pay respect to the playing of their national anthem, giving the Queen an ipod of his speeches when she had given him an appropriate and meaningful gift, giving the prime minister a gift of DVDs that don't work with the British electrical system, insulting the British people by just packing up their gift to the American people and sending it back. I thought that the White House had a department of protocol and ettiquette. Apparently not.

I'm not an Obama fan but Bush was definitely worse. You can't excuse some of the brain farts he's had, and they are numerous:

Best Bushims of All Time - YouTube

And his mannerisms, his smirks weren't doing him any favors: Made him look all the more goofy.

Well at least he didn't insult our allies numerous times. Can't *believe* Obama did. Each time he's done that I feel like apologizing for him and then crawling in a hole. Like I said, I thought the White House had a department of protocol or ettiquette. So embarrassing.

You may not like Bush's speech, but as a former Texan, I found it lilting. And his manners were impeccable. (Bush actually cared for the people--he even stopped playing the game he loved, golf, when the country was suffering in the war, but Obama won't even cut back on his golfing, partying, and vacations when he knows we are suffering in this recession and he didn't care when his motorcades snarled traffic and had the local people complaining.) I definitely dislike the stuttering of Obama and the way he ends declarative sentences as if each had a question mark drives me "up the wall". Don't like his mannerisms at all. And then the fact that he can't even talk to a class of elementary school children without a teleprompter just "floors me."

Oh just in case you didn't know, propably not since the media doesn't seem to report it very much, Obama too had a locked door problem. It was in the While House. Tried the French doors off a patio and they were locked. You know I bet you and I have approached a locked door thinking it was open once or twice in our lifetimes. It's not a gaffe.

Do I need to bring up playing with a guitar as Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans followed up by a flyover to survey the damage from on-high? Or how about the SNAFU that the whole rescue non-effort after Katrina by BUSH's FEMA?

Or perhaps you still blame those poor people for not having a way out of town, so they got what they deserved? I seem to remember that this was the talking point of "non-Republicans" ^_^^_^^_^ at the time.

Don't you know what an ally is--or should I say what Allies are? Great Britain is one. Hopefully after Obama, she'll still be one. (From the bottom of my heart I am *sooo* sorry for his continual treatment of you. I know that it was uncalled for, but consider the source--he's really just learning.) Israel is another. Or was. (I know it's more than difficult, but please don't take his slights toward you to heart.) Canada is another. (I know he's kept you waiting for *three* years on that Keystone Pipeline, but please don't sell your oil to China.) Think Australia is as well. (Be glad that he hasn't slighted you....yet.) Japan is yet another. (I think you can also consider yourselves lucky, but with all your other problems, I bet that he doesn't think that you *have* to be brought down even lower.)
