Revelation 22

Eden Restored

1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
There's hope for us believers and I believe once the curse of sin is removed, and our transformation of our new glorious minds and bodies of Christ are received when Jesus returns sometime in the future - we will experience joy, peace and perfection where injury, accidental death from work or some pleasurable action such as playing football, will be prevented with our advanced new minds of Christ that I believe we would be able to see the future like God does with absolute ease and comfort. Such grace of glory of this supernatural advancement for being always young and living life to it's fullness will be like enjoying a round-the-clock festival-like show in God's most massive and most modern place of community: the Kingdom of God on a new Earth, where we will never be bored to (non) tears or fall sleep with our new bodies of Christ. Praise Jesus for his victory is supernaturally powerful and his future victory will rise and conquer Satan and there's nothing on Earth that Satan can do to turn back the clock repeatedly to avoid the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.:*:.

Does God curse people?

God DISCIPLINES His children when we get out of line, as any GOOD parent would do.

Look at our nation, we deserve it for our "Passive Arrogance" ALLOWINGthe government to massively take over our freedoms.

God is trying to WAKE us up. We had better wake up soon, or we won't be here much longer.

I always feel cursed, but can't say if that's God doing it or not. I wouldn't think he would, unless it's some kind of test.
A lot of people feel like that, and I know what you mean. There are actions we need to take, to get ourselves out of that. Look through scriptures and see what God's terms are for taking care of you. Everything doesn't go well automatically. There are lots of factors, but before we jump to conclusions about God cursing, it is good to go back to what He said about it.

In Christ all curses are broken so that God can bless us.
The law brought the curses upon all men who failed to keep the law
fully but Christ came and He Himself took on all the curses that
came to man under the law.

Jesus was crucified on a wooden cross made from a tree.
Jesus hung from that tree and took on Himself all our sin, shame
and blame and became accursed and suffered all the punishment
for all men for all sin.

Galatians 3:13
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law,
having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree” ),

Here is another way of describing the exchange God made for us.
Christ was perfect, Holy and sinless and He who was guiltless
offered Himself in our place and took on all of our sins and
all of the curses that sin and the law brought on those who
broke the law so that we would have GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS
THAT WAS GIVEN TO US BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST TOOK OUR PLACE.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us,
that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

If you think God is cursing you after He has died in your place
on the cross then you are either ignorant of scripture or
you have been feeding on some rancid doctrines that pervert
the gospel of Christ.

God chastens His children because He loves us. What kind of a father who loves his son doesn't discipline him? You must HATE someone to not correct them.

"For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth." Proverbs 3:12

As far as being "cursed"? I do not believe that. I believe there are consequences for opposing God once you are saved, and if you live for yourself after you get saved, or "backslide", then yes, He will punish that, and use those experiences to make you realize He is the center of your life, or should be. But I don't see that as a "curse", no.

it says in the Bible that God disciplines those he loves. I'm not sure if he's doing this to me or even at all. . .I'm not sure what's going on really anymore. Either he's punishing or he isn't.
Discipline or more accurately "correction" in not the same as a curse.

When a loving parent wants to correct a childs behavior they
speak the words of correction in love to the child and REASON
with them and explain the good and the bad of obedieance
and rebellion.

If the child continues to rebel the THEY will suffer the results of their own actions.

I like the stove example...God says: "don't touch the stove"
(don't sin) and then it is up to us to obey or rebel and the results will
be determined by our own actions.

God doesn't tell us not to touch the stove (sin) and when we do
he runs us over with a steam roller.(curse)

We suffer as Christians when we sin because WE walk away from God
and we feel the effects of our loss of relationship with our Heavenly Father.

The devil is the one who will bring curses upon us when we take ourselves
out from under God's protection when we choose sin over obedieance
to God and His plan for our lives.

God is good.
The devil kills, steals and destroys.

God is love.
The devil is hate.

God cannot lie.
The devil is the father of all lies.

God is sinless and holy.
The devil is evil.

God is our healer.
The devil brings sickness and disease.
(Jesus cast out demons and people were healed)

God is our source of all blessing.
The devil is the one who brings curses.

God sets us free in Christ.
The devil bring bondage and slavery.

God offers us eternal life.
The devil is headed for eternal death.

I could go on but you get the idea...
Stop believing that the devil is God in disguise and receive
the truth of who God is as revealed by the life and teachings of
Jesus Christ who is Lord.
