I can show biblically where their are 144000 Jews that will be joining Christianity in Heaven, not to mention all of the righteous Non Christians of the OT.

Only pop Christians think their religious efforts will be the only way someone is worthy of Going through Christ.

Dear iwannarock. Jesus died for all men and women, and many Jews have already accepted Jesus as their Saviour. God loves the Jews, and He will give them enough time to accept Jesus as their Saviour. As to your question, Jesus is The Way, and those who will not follow Jesus home, to where we came from, will end up in Outer Darkness, without God`s Love or Light. God told us: Whosoever will may come, and what we have to do is: Learn to love God, with hearts, with souls, and with minds, and love our neighbour as we love ourselves: our neighbour is all we know and all we meet. Jesus is waiting for all who want to come, and it is LOVE selfless, without conditions, which is the Key to Heaven. I say this with love. Greetings from Emmy, sister in Christ.

It's important to realize that the first disciples of Jesus were Jews, and even though they believed in Jesus and were called Christians, they didn't stop being Jews. Jews who believe in Jesus as we do certainly go to Heaven. Jews who do not, will not.

A 'place' called 'hell' doesn't exist per se. Heaven and hell are a state rather than a locale- both being in the presence of God. When the scriptures mention Hades being cast into the lake of fire- it is a direct reference to being cast into the presence of God. Such a thing for one who hates God will be eternal torment and suffering. For those who love God- experiencing the light of God is paradise, Who is Love and the Tree of Life. Salvation isn't being saved from the wrath of God- it is being directly in His presence.

If Jews choose to reject salvation, then they will not experience the presence of God as anything other than torment.

This opens up the deeper question(s) we all must face, which include what does it really mean to:

Call upon the Name of the Lord
know the Name of the Lord
trust in the Name of the Lord
follow the Lord
believe on the Name of the Lord

and understanding the direct relationship between all of the above and

keeping His commandments, and thereby actually loving Him.

As another poster mentioned, it's not what pop christianity makes it out to be, nor is it as simple as words, or reciting words like they were some magic spell. Remember, while man looks on the outward appearance, G-d looks on the heart. I'm pretty sure He has people from all walks of life ... are we true to what He's revealed to us?

I think that after being around Jesus they began to think of themselves as Christians and Israelites rather than as "Jews". As they were being sent out to deliver the gospel message to the other tribes, the 'house of Israel', they would think of themselves as one of the twelve rather than the only chosen tribe. That they would each judge one of the tribes would also draw them into a closer association with them. The Jews of Pauls day wanted to kill him for this same message believing, as the Jews of today believe, that they alone remained as the 'chosen of God'.

Given the Biblical evidence, I'd say they still looked at themselves as Jews - Jews who were obedient to God and had faith in his Messiah.

We cannot know who is going to heaven and who is going to hell. It is not for us to judge. Jesus said, "Judge not that ye be not judged."

Most abused and misused verse of scripture ever. Care to quote the rest of the passage for us? Or how about the part later on in that same chapter where Jesus commands us to judge?
