Hello, my name is Graham and I've come to this place by the direction of our Lord Jesus for prayer.
My Jesus pointed out to me in James 5:16 that I should
"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
I believe in the Word of God, and in faith to my Lord, I obey this.
I've struggled with lust and inappropriate contentography a great deal in my life, and keep falling back into this bondage that grieves our Lord, the Spirit in us who yearns jealously.
God has helped me so much through all this, He has been SO PATIENT and FORGIVING, Our Lord is truly so WONDERFUL. Time and time again, through the blood of the Lamb and His Holy Spirit he has shown me so much undeserved mercy.
Really, truly I mean this, He has been SO GRACIOUS to me. Hes met me where I was, and lifted me out of the muck more times than I can remember. Hallelujah!
I must admit, I dont know exactly how it all works, the differences between lust and normal appetites, where the line is between "I want this" and "I like this", or even if there is a difference. I've let my desires deceive me so many times that I have this pool of lies that confuses me to no end.
And there is my great sin, that I've believed lies rather than God. He has shown me so many times, but I've grouped my precious Lord's words and mercies in with my own thoughts, counting him among what is just sin. I confess He, my Lord, has not been my master here. I did not hear Him. This is really really bad. I regret this so much, why dont I just LISTEN to Him?

Please pray for me, that the merciful Lord that has shown us so much undeserved grace and mercy might do so even once more for your brother. Ask Him to show me the path where I should walk, ask Him to heal me from my own bitter deceptions that I have heard from my flesh and from the enemy, neglecting the liberating truths He has shown me Himself.
God has been faithful, I have not. Praise God, for He alone is good and worthy. Even when we walk away, He is still our Father.
