In the Lutheran Service Book, Bach is credited for the music for the following Hymns:

378 Break Forth, O Beauteous Light
414 'Tis Good, Lord, to Be Here
449 O Sacred Head, Now Wounded
546 Oh Jesus So Sweet, O Jesus So Mild
657 A Might Fortress is Our God second tune setting
898 The Ancient Law Departs
740 I Am Jesus' Little Lamb is set to a Choral by Bach

My very knowledgeable Pastor/Musician is out of the houser right now doing the music for the District Men's Bible Breakfast.

St. Matthew passion.

Palm Sunday myself and a few friends went to hear our Stratford Concert Choir perform this. I have heard it twice before; sung in German with Orchestra and Organ. This time it was performed in St. Joseph's RCC with only organ acc, and sung in English. It was very beautiful and very moving.

Our Church organist, one of our Elders, and a couple of other member of our Church are in the Choir.

I also love hearing very orthodox Lutheran music performed in a Catholic Church.;):p.

Nothing like a great organist on a pipe organ is there?

The experience I had that was as awesome you can get was in Leipzig Germany. We visited the Bach Museum which is across the street from St. Thomaskirche as well as the church. While in the church, there was an organist playing. We were walking around and suddenly we heard this fantastic music filling this vast space. WOW!!
