TOTAL DOMESTIC BOX OFFICE EARNINGS: $65,600,017

The movie is Sylvester Stallone's most successful starring role since 1993's Cliffhanger and has already outperformed the previous sequel, 1990's Rocky V, which only grossed 40,946,358.

Not to mention, all of Stallone's films together have grossed over $1.7 billion in the USA and over $3.5 billion worldwide.

Yeah, that qualifies as a "has-been"

Outperforming Cliffhanger and/or Rocky V isn't exactly a difficult feat. And let's not forget the stinkburger that was Judge Dredd.

If you include the foreign box office receipts, Rocky V made
$119,946,358.

That's not exactly chump change.

Ali (2001) only made $87,713,825

Cinderella Man (2005) only made $108,539,911

Especially if you consider that Ali COST $107,000,000 to make.

And Cinderella man cost $88,000,000.

wow. who cares? does his "star power" automatically lend credence to his new-found religiousness?

I guess you missed the "has-been" posts, and the claims that outperforming Rocky V and Cliffhanger was not difficult.

no, i saw them. it's just a big "who cares" all around, i guess, to me. The only "6 consecutive 100+ million dollar box-office films" actor belongs to my religion. do i win?

You're just mad because he didn't choose Scientology. But take heart, you've still got John Travolta and Tom Cruise.

Depends on what game we're playing. If it's about which 'religion' has the best 'religious' forum.. then we win. Cause you're here and we're not there. :p

But aren't you the same person claimed awhile back.. that if someone didn't 'care'.. they wouldn't bother making the comment? But then it was about whoever 'didn't care' about dougie houser coming out about being gay. ^_^

oh please. two different things. you went into a thread about neil patrick harris coming out to comment about how much you didn't care.

i said "who cares" about if sylvester stallone was a "has-been" or a "still is" - it really doesn't have much of a bearing on the story. i'm happy for sly stallone if his new-found faith helps him out. the end.

two totally different things.
