The history, vision, and mission of Christian Forums
Christian Forums was started in 2001 as a "hobby" by Dr Erwin Loh, the founder of this site, who remained the Webmaster of CF from 2001 to 2007. In mid-2007, Erwin made the decision to broaden the site and make it a place of welcoming all people to learn about Christ. During this time the site was renamed with the popular slogan of "For U My Savior" by many members.

Since then, this site has grown to become one of the the world's largest online forums community website, being one of the top 20 largest forums in the world (we are currently ranked #13 as of December 2007). It now has hundreds of thousands of members and millions of posts from all over the world from people of all backgrounds, denominations and faiths.

In the beginning of November 2007, Erwin placed the care of this site into LeeD's hands. LeeD made the decision to change the name back to the original name of the site: Christian Forums, which was changed back in late November of 2007. Paul Kim purchased CF from his friend Lee in early 2009 and is still working to make the site where Christian Faith meets a community. With his group of advisers and a Staff of over 150 members, Christian Forums continues to be a place where Christians and non-Christians can come together to discuss many different topics and learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ.

Vision:
An online forums-based social community guided by Christian principles.

Mission:

1. To establish and grow a Christian community that is open to everyone (of all faiths, beliefs, and nations) guided by rules driven by Christian principles which keep in mind:
Gal 5:22-23 GNT But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.

2. To provide a meeting place for Christians to fellowship with one another and outreach to non-Christians, keeping in mind:
2 Cor 5:17-18 GNT Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. All this is done by God, who through Christ changed us from enemies into his friends and gave us the task of making others his friends also.

We hope you enjoy using Christian Forums as much as we do. If you ever need help using the site, please contact a Staff member by sending a private message.
