This is an open world, with many cities and areas. User-created cities are fine, since I don't really feel like making a whole bunch of cities right now lol.

The city of Omun was densely populated, filled with bustling crowds, eager to see what the merchants had in supply. It was right next to the Bilten Ocean, just one of four major water bodies in Gorathan. This allowed for large docks, causing a massive growth in the city and its population. It had white stone walls, with many towers, tipped with blue flags, and it seemed the Sun always shined on the town. It had a netword of streets running through it, with one straight, wide street in the middle. On the main street of the city, sat an expansively large shop with bright letters saying: "Savintus' Supplies". It was a large shop, specifically designed to stand out among the other similarly decorated buildings. There were always many customers inside, and many, many coins spent each day. The proprietor, Savintus Quertiz, was a medium built man, extravagantly dressed, and obviously very wealthy, often surveyed the crowd with a distant eye, obviously not interested.

One day, a customer approached Savintus. He did not appear very wealthy, not even middle class, but he had a charismatic attitude, and soon got into a deep conversation with Savintus.
"So, Mr. Quertiz, I hear you have been dissatisfied with your life for some time now."
"Yes, that is true," replied Savintus, "after reaching the top it seems my life has no meaning anymore, no ambition left for me."
"Well," the man said, "have you ever heard of a city called Tinaerus?"
"It seems that, perhaps I have," Savintus answered, as he began walking down the stairs he had been standing on, "but if so, it was long ago. What makes you think this city will have the answers I seek?"
"Trust me," the man started, "once you have entered this city, all your doubts will disappear."

That night, after the man had left, Savintus lay in bed, pondering their conversation. He felt as if he couldn't stay another day in Omun, beautiful though it was. He sat up, walked over, and lit a candle on the desk in his room. As the candle flickered on, he saw a note written on the desk: "Leave tonight, don't take anything, head northeast."
The words were beautifully written in gold ink. Savintus sat back down, then started as more words began to appear on the note: "Leave! Don't take anything! Food will be provided, as will clothing."
Savintus wondered if this could be a wizard's intervention, then dismissed the notion, he had wards protecting this room from any magical interference. He decided he had nothing to waste and slipped across the hall, down the staircase, and out the back door.
Once he was on the street, Savintus set out through the back alleys to a secret area he had found in his road merchant days. The city of Omun had a curfew of 10 o'clock P.M. and it was strictly enforced by the city watch. The gates in and out of the city were closed and heavily guarded, and around 35 guards patrolled the city at night. He darted behind a small house at the edge of town, and pushed on a loose stone in the wall. It fell through revealing a hole in the wall. Savintus slipped through and replaced the stone quietly. He set off in a northeasterly direction, though it was nearing 1 o'clock A.M. with a brisk pace, hoping to find these "supplies" soon.
