I have chosen to share some key points of the Christian doctrine , I am well aware that many of you already know these but with so much "Believe however you want to believe and in whatever you want to believe" attitudes in society I thought I would review them and hopefully help you stay on the straight and narrow in your process of developing as Christians.

1) There is only ONE God - Isaiah. 44:6,8; 45:6,14,18,21,22
2) God is a Trinity - 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Pet. 1:2
3) There are no Gods before or after God - Isaiah 43:10
4) God knows all things - 1 John 3:20
5) God is all powerful - Psalms 115:3
6) God is everywhere - Jer. 23:23,24
7) God is sovereign - Zech. 9:14; 1 Tim. 6:15-16
8) God is spirit - John 4:24
9) God created all that exists - Gen. 1:1; Isaiah 44:24
10) God has always been God - Psalms 90:2
11) Jesus is God - John 1:1,14; 8:58; Col. 2:9; Heb. 1:6-8
12) Jesus became man - Phil. 2:5-8
13) Jesus was sinless - 1 Pet. 2:22
14) Jesus is the only way to the Father - John 14:6; Matt. 11:27
15) The Bible is inspired by God - 2 Tim. 3:16
16) All people have sinned - Rom. 3:23 , 5:12
17) Sin seperates us from God - Isaiah 59:2
18) Jesus died for all our sins - 1 John 2:2; 2 Cor. 5:14; 1 Pet 2:24
19) Jesus's sacrifice was a substitution, for us - 1 Pet. 2:24
20) Those who reject Jesus will go to Hell - Rev. 20:11-15
21) Salvation is a free gift from God - Rom. 4:5; 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9
22) The Bible is the word of God - 2 Tim. 3:16
23) There will be a final Judgement - 2 Pet. 3:7

I believe and that makes me a believer! But the important thing is not that I believe but rather what I believe in. For humanity and the stength of it lies not in the physical attributes of the human , but rather the spiritual and intellectual attributes. What maketh man and whom maketh man? For if you do not believe on God then ask yourself why, and if you are satisfied with the conviction to put your everlasting soul on the line ,then fine and well , you may.

But if you do believe in God , the maker of everything in the universe, the big I AM , the Alpha and Omega , then you have everything to gain and nothing to lose by believing in Jesus Christ , God the Father , The Holy Spirit , the one and only GOD OF LIFE.

I am here only as an ambassador of Christ. The joy comes from the fact that I have placed my life here and eternally in the hands of Jesus. No matter what has happened or will happen to me here on earth , I know that it is only a moment and then gone , the rest of the time I will spend in heaven with God. The fact is we cannot and will never know everything , but the fundamental things we do know , is that God loves us and only wants his children to return to the truth , to become holy and follow his way.

The sad truth is very few will make it in the end, by that I mean many people will be deceived , and gladly so because they believed a lie and could not accept the truth , for some it has been a miracle to be saved , for me I just found God one day , and he was always there , just as he will always be.

Just want to say before I go , you cannot love without knowing God , and to know God means you understand love.

 C H A P T E R 1
Narrow is the Way
Some of the most astonishing prophecies in the Bible have to do with the proportion of people who will be saved at the coming of Christ. Jesus clearly taught that only a comparative few would be ready to inherit His kingdom. He said, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13, 14).
In Luke 18:8, by asking a very penetrating question, Jesus implied that the “few” might be even less than we could hope or imagine. “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Again, the Master spoke of the final separation in these words: “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man” (Luke 17:26). Only eight people were saved from the flood and “as it was then” so shall it be at His coming. Other Bible writers and prophets use similar language to portray the “little flock,” the
“remnant,” and the “few” who will prove faithful to the very end.
The fact that so few will be saved is not nearly as shocking as the reason given in the Bible for their loss. It seems obvious that great multitudes will be excluded from heaven even though they professed Christ, worshiped Him regularly, and spent much of their time doing wonderful works in His name. Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23).
These verses reveal that the earth will be flooded with a lot of false religion in the last days. Millions will be spending their time, their effort, and their money in promoting a religion that involves apparent miracles, apparent spiritual gifts, and much enthusiastic activity. All of this is explicitly spelled out in the teaching of our Lord. Yet those many will finally be utterly rejected by Jesus and shut out
of heaven. Talk about startling truth! More people need to get their eyes open to this little-understood situation that will characterize the end time. Then we need to find out how to avoid the vast spiritual delusions which will cause so many religious people to be lost.
Why will they be rejected in spite of their devoted worship and ministry in the name of Jesus? It has caused some people almost to despair of salvation. How can one know that his own religion will not finally be found in this category? Let us seriously look for the answers to these questions. Our salvation does not depend upon our sincerity, but upon finding the truth in God’s Word and obeying it!

Continued C H A P T E R 2
Obedience is the Acid Test
of a Valid Religion

The first point we must understand is this: RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY IS QUITE USELESS IF WE ARE NOT DOING THE WILL OF GOD. Christ declared that calling on God’s name, and even leading out in great selfless humanitarian programs, will be wasted
if obedience to God’s will is excluded. Mark this fact upon the table of your mind and never forget it—the Scriptures exalt OBEDIENCE as the distinguishing test of a valid religion. Those who engage ever so fully in the preaching of the name of Jesus—with time, talent, and money—and do not keep His commandments, cannot meet the approval of God. In fact, because they are not obeying Christ, such worshipers actually open a door by which Satan can enter unrecognized and work miracles through them, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, which they ascribe to the power of God. The plaintive plea, “Have we not prophesied . . . and in Thy name cast out devils?” is proof positive that their miracles had been done by some other power than that of Christ, albeit in His name. If Jesus never knew them, who else could work such miracles? Only Satan. The Bible speaks of “the spirits of devils, working miracles” (Revelation 16:14).
By the way, what did Jesus mean when He said, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”? How does one really come to “know” the Lord? The beloved John tells us, “Whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him” (1 John 3:6). “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his
commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” (1 John 2:4). Knowing Him means we obey Him. Biblically, it is impossible to be a true child of God while refusing to obey the commandments of God. Willful disobedience cuts off the relationship, drives away the Holy Spirit by which we are sealed, and effectively removes the individual from the position of grace.
Now we begin to see how simple it is to test the religious spirits that are in the world today. It is time that we look past the stimulating music, the spellbinding oratory, and even the exciting witnessing programs and apply the test set up by the great Author of all truth—Jesus Himself. He made it exceedingly clear that the original requirements of God have remained unchanged. The condition of obedience which would have kept man in Eden becomes the condition for his restoration to Eden. “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

C H A P T E R 3
Love is Not Legalism
We must not fail to emphasize at this point that element of love which must also attend all acceptable obedience. Forcing the forms of compliance without a personal love-experience with Christ the Savior is fully as fatal a mistake as omitting all obedience. Jesus had to deal with the cold formalism of the Pharisees over and over again. And because He so thoroughly condemned the program of salvation by works, many have hastily assumed that He considered obedience unimportant. Now we need to see the beautiful balance in Christ’s doctrine of faith and works. He taught that obeying in order to be saved is the worst kind of legalism, but obeying because we are saved is the acid test of a true religious experience. Obedience follows true faith just as surely as day follows night. Incidentally, the word “legalist” has been thrown around with too much abandon. I greatly fear that many sincere Christians have been accused of legalism only because their love for Christ led them to be more particular in their obedience than
their accusers. Never forget that a legalist is one who believes that he can be saved by his works. The person who keeps the commandments because he doesn’t want to displease the God he loves is not a legalist at all. The old argument is often heard, “I’d rather see a happy, loving Christian who doesn’t keep all of the commandments than to see an unloving one who strictly obeys the law.” Why try to measure degrees of guilt? Both are completely wrong. Our feelings have nothing to do with it. Christ has established the standard of measurement. Nothing less than a “faith which worketh by love” will be accepted.
But let us return to the alarming proposition that most of mankind will be lost, including the fervent religious activists. Worship is commanded in the Bible and is a necessary ingredient of true religion, but will a host of worshiping Christians be lost? Jesus said, “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9). Another shattering statement of truth! People will engage in vain worship if they reject true doctrine in favor of man’s tradition.

C H A P T E R 4
When is Worship Vain?
On several occasions Jesus urged the necessity of walking in all known truth. “If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin” (John 15:22). “If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth” (John 9:41). When a man learns a point of truth in the Bible and refuses to obey it, he is guilty of practicing sin. Such a man is fighting the Holy Spirit whose primary work is to guide into all truth. This refusal to obey hardens the conscience, causing the Holy Spirit to finally withdraw and leads to the unpardonable sin. No wonder such worship is vain. By rejecting the commandments of God in favor of human traditions, the Holy Spirit is spurned. According to Acts 5:32 only those who obey are eligible to be filled with the Spirit.
Let us pause now and consider the profound significance of what we have discovered. The vast majority of people will be lost, including many who work miracles in Christ’s name, worship Him, and claim to
know Him as His children. The reason they will be lost is that they do not love Him enough to keep all of His commandments. For some reason these ardent church workers have learned to look lightly upon the law of God. Most of them consider it legalism to believe that disobedience could keep them out of heaven. Satan has blinded their eyes to the beautiful, intimate relationship of love and obedience. Millions of Protestant Christians have actually been taught that their obedience or disobedience can have no effect whatever upon their ultimate salvation.
In view of the deep-rooted tradition of popular Christianity today, we can see how Satan has manipulated millions into a state of mind to reject the claims of God’s moral law. Under the twisted interpretation of a cheap grace (someone has called it “sloppy agape”) the stage has been set for the devil’s master strategy of deception. The final contest between truth and error will revolve around the basic issue of loyalty or disloyalty, obedience or disobedience. And the focus will be squarely on the fourth commandment which contains the great distinctive sign of God’s creative power and authority.

to be Continued

We are working our way through Matthew, i thought i would share what He teaches me with all.

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye?You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
(Matthew 7:1-5 ESV)

I get the understanding here, I think. But what I don't understand, is why do you ask me to say something to another, is that not judging? I have so much to learn myself, maybe I should be taking a back seat until I learn this stuff.

Jesus said "When I tell you to speak, that is not judging, its teaching. Do not speak of your own accord, only when I tell you to speak. Judging is only judging when you do it in your own power according to you according to your understandings. The safe play is not to judge at all, just lead by example, let the light shine that is in you."

This take the log out of my eye first to see clealy to take a speck out of a brothers eye, does this mean I have to learn all the bible first?

Jesus said "There is something greater than the Bible here, there are scriptures for all things including what is greater, the alter or the gift. The bible is a great starting point to come to me, but if you read it without me, you will only get human understandings, things according you you. Many miss the point of my message, its a training ground for Spirit living, the Bible is your text book to work out how to hear me in Spirit. Is it not so, all teachers give students books to help them study, they do not give them the answer sheet, just the study notes. This is why there is no back door to the Kingdom. You are forced to come to me in Spirit for those answers. Many student fail because they memorise scriptures and fail in finding me in Spirit. You only need look at the world today to see your answer. One God, One Jesus and One Holy Spirit, yet so many christian sects, why ? Because of human understandings according to them. They teach my memorised words and create the seen in order to teach about the unseen. Men need to see and touch in order to believe. As true and as sad as it is, there is hope. People like you who seek the Spiritual first, they keep the truth going, there are others in the world like you who i talk to and share my truth to. But in truth there are few. Human understandings, this is a wide road and many are on it. But as you know, one man can make a difference, look at what Paul did. To keep it simple, yes learn the Bible, but do it in me. The questions are in the Bible, the answers are in me. No back doors...

So it is all about Spirit, that means all this time i was thinking my problem with reading and spelling was not a problem at all but a gift, it forced me to seek you in Spirit.

Jesus said "Now you get it, for you it was a gift, it forced you into seeking me before hand because you could not read, you had to rely on the Spirit. To do this you had to trust in the unseen. In truth the disavantage is not being able to read or write, but reading and writing itself. These ones have a harder road, beacuse human knowledge will trip them up everytime. Remember, no back doors into the Kingdom, its not what you do, its what i do that counts. Your knowledge or works do not give you grace, your heart for me, and desire for me is what counts. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, SPIRIT and that is the Key to it all. We will talk about that soon in the coming Scrptures. Raymond learning in me is removing the log in your eye, if you do as I say when I say there is no log in your eye. If you say to another according to you, then you have a log.

I am doing a Beth Moore bible study which is pretty good by the way...one of the lessons in the past 2 weeks was about loving your enemies and praying for them. This really got me thinking, how do you do that? Love your enemies that is? I can pray for them, no problem there and I can do it sincerely. But I don't know how to love them.

It's not that I have a lot of enemies, not even sure I have any, although I might be surprised! :/ There are some people though, that I strongly dislike. There is a girl that did work in my salon that had a problem with me and to this day I don't even have a CLUE why.. she is long gone now which made the whole salon atmosphere much better. That's the closest I can come to an enemy at this time anyway...
I prayed for her, but I don't love her. Just being honest... I don't love her even a little bit. I don't know how to. She made me miserable and did things to make things purposely difficult for me. How do you love someone like that? Or someone that hurts you or your child... even in more distressed situations, how do you love your enemies?

I pray about this.. I haven't been able to wrap my brain around this one. I am really trying to do better and be more of an example. Why is this so hard?

Hope this is the right forum, I couldn't figure out which area to post this in. Sorry in advance if it's in the wrong area!

I am wondering about a certain scripture, and trying to understand exactly what it means.

1 Corinthians 11:2-16

Propriety in Worship

2I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the teachings, just as I passed them on to you.
3Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.

11In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 13Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God.

So my questions from this scripture are:

Does this mean that women should wear a veil, or some sort of covering, when praying? Or does long hair on a woman act as a covering? I don't quite understand which one it means.

Secondly, it says long hair on a man is a disgrace to him. But didn't Jesus have long hair? Of course, it didn't state how long is too long, but modern depictions of Jesus depict him with shoulder length hair.

Can someone explain these a bit more? Thanks! :)

is there a chosen one out here in this world, has god chosen anyone... ive been thinking alot about it, about why things have been going the way they have been, it seems like god took away and has been trying to reach out to everybody by making a point, Hes the boss. things arent as simple as they use to be, everything seems to be about money, politics, and material items and no body is focusing on the things that matters most, im not exactly sure where im going with this, i just wanted to give some insite on todays life, where is our world headed? destruction??? no one is focusing on god and thats something i think everyone should take some time out of there day to give thanks and recognize god and jesus for everything they have done for us. we always want him to give give give, but what do we do for him. i like to go to church and praise god, but sometimes i feel like im doing it just because in my head i know its something i should do, instead of doing it out of pure want versus knowing i should to please them... my life has been a big journey very big, alot of people seem to think im wearing this invisible yamaka on my head. cuz i like to talk about god and jesus and asking if they believe or not, i am a big believer but i have also givin in to alot of temptation and i still do till this day and iam still asking for more, i am recently married and have a baby on the way, i have loved my life for some time now, i love how god created me and the gifts and talents he has blessed me with, my eyes glow and shine like no other when the sun is in them, some friends call me a prince, some call me the one, ask me why i dont know, mybday is 12-21 and recently herd thats suppose to be the last day, to some who believe, i think there are chosen people for god. i dont know anyone else to talk to about this, im kinda shy to talk about it, anytime i say the one in a sentence i kinda freeze and say it in a serious tone and turn into this other person, sounds crazy i know but it seems like i share my body with a spirit or something holy, i know i am an old soul because thats how ifeel sometime, and when i seen a palm reader b4 she told me that i have lived a life before and iam on my second life currently, not sure what to think about that. could i be the one chosen by our heavenly father. is there a possiblity. thanks for reading this for the people who took the time out of there day, and a true deep response would be grately appreciated. i dont mean to sound crazy but i truely belive its here and its amazing.:preach:

First off, Im an by no means exaggerating or trying to get attention and everything I type is exactly what happened. Ill share my experience and my question after.

Now the first time I ever heard an audible voice was when I was going to to sleep one night. Before I became a true christian I used dissociatives and deliriants (both hallucinagens) and never had such a clear concise voice appear out of nowhere like the one I experienced this night. What happened was, I entered this state of conscious where im awake, but can't open my eyes and hardly move at all (which is very wierd and totally different from a lucid dream or a regular dream). What happened next was I felt a force as if someone was pushing down on my head (I was laying on by belly with half my face on the mattress). First thought that came to me was: ok my brother or my mom for some odd reason is pushing down on my head. What came next was a voice that whispered as if my mom or brother whispered to me "You can walk in the willingness of God" meaning you can walk in God's will. The second that happened I was convinced my brother or my mom was pushing my head down and whispering this to me so I fought as hard as I can to "wake up" out of this state of conscious (even though im conscious to an extent my body seems to be still asleep or part of my brain). When I did finally "wake up" I looked around to see NO ONE in my room nor my door opened and it was in the A.M. My heart was racing so hard and I was freaked out at what just happened, but calmed back down with reassurance of God.

I have entered this bizarre state of mind before by accident, but with no audible or any voices at all and this was the first with a voice. This happened after about I week I believe when I talk to my friend about religion and he made a statement saying he can't do god's will or something to that effect. Im pretty sure that was the basis for this experience.

Now my question concerning the occult. I was able to enter this "state of mind" (after this experience by just staring into blackness with zero thoughts when going to sleep). Im pretty sure ill probably be able to do this more easily the more I try. After a couple of random thoughts/images, I entered this state and didnt hear any voices for a second or so, but the more intense it got (I can't really explain, but it seemed when it was getting more intense a voice was about to come) it was starting to really hurt my brain and I decided to abort and wierd enough I had zero pain after waking up not even traces of it.

Should I be attempting to achieve this state of mind or is this dabbling with the occultic practices of mysticism which I read about dealing with meditation?

Its the obeying part that is tough.

For example Last week as I was praying I believe I heard the Lord tell me to go to a local synagogue. At first I said of course God I will go.

Then as I was on my way to the Synagogue the enemy started telling me all the reason I was crazy for going, God really didn't tell you that...

But I reasoned if God didn't tell me this, when I got there He would make it clear to me.

Boy am I glad I listened to God. When I went to the Synagogue on Saturday God met me there. I worshiped Him like never before.

I guess he knew what I needed all along. The enemy was there to test me. God saw me through it.

What do you think?

In my early days, when i am with world, (when i am sinner in world) i don't know the truth in life.

Life made me very easy steps. All works are very easy
All attempts are very easy
There is no need to think deep in any matter
Every movement and every circumstances are happy.
in my very young age Lord started to talk with me..

Life is suddenly changed
Spiritual life become as a great hill before my life,
i was started to think deep on my personal life,
That is great time with great blessing with the grace of God
When Lord is given His grace to me i started to think deeper and deeper
I have noticed that i am in very deep position in the valley of sin.

HE CAME FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH TO SHOW THE WAY

How much deep (depth) from heaven to earth to come for me

Grace made me to come out from the depth of sin.

Now real fight is started to climb in truth
I have to grow for Lord
I have to climb the hill of the truth
I made a check up on my position, i am a baby in Christ
i felt in feeling that i am in the pit of ignorance,
i saved by grace of Christ, but i have not matured in truth,
i have to learn the truth, i have to grow in truth
i noticed i am in the pit of ignorance. i was saved
even though i have to grow in truth,

Now i can say, Lord made me to come out from ignorance

Now i am with some understanding on deeper life in Christ..
I pray for every Christ to come for the understanding on deeper spiritual life to give more glory in their lives.
