I've lurked these forums on and off. I won't go into my life story here, but I've decided to sign up on the site.

One of the main reasons is that, years ago, I kind of turned my back on God. Not surprisingly my life became a mess after that and has continued to do so. It was only recently that I realized why. After that I started praying and now I'm trying to find my way back to God now and to go back to living a Christian life. My wife is on the same path with me. She hadn't really strayed as much as I have.

Today we went to Church for the first time in a long time (it's been over a year and a half for me). It was amazing and I thank God I went. I look forward to being around here and having a group that I can fall back on if I (or we) need help. I go to a CoE church, which is pretty good, but the standard of youth work has... dropped slightly, which is annoying. I am an unemployed student from Wisconsin. I am 30 years old and studying for a new career in Administration, which is pretty scary. But what are you going to do when God practically comes down and say "Go back to School!" Can't say I didn't ask for it though. In my humble opinion everybody pretty much asks God to come down and hand them a Boot Reer once in thier life.

I go to a Non-Denominational Church for now. I've been with the same Church for more then ten years, but because of some drastic changes in policy I will probably be looking for a new Church in the near future. It's a sad story really.

I live with my mom. Who is currently living in a Rehab facility after getting MRSA after surgery, so please pray for her. Please don't ask me about the type of surgery unless you want gory details, there is really no other way to explain it.

I am single because I choose to be. Though I wouldn't object to finding the man God has meant for me (or the man I am meant for, since I believe in the husband being the authority) I don't have a lot of prospects in that area so I'm fine where I am at.

I am medically obese (which doesn't help with the meeting of a man), and I personally want to loose a hundred pounds. I just don't have a lot of discipline in the "thou shalt not stuff your face with sugar" area of it all.

I guess those are the most noticable things about me. I think I will need to because I just don't know if I can ace everything after today just to get a C. So I am looking at other colleges near where I'm at (California) and see if I can enroll in a English COMP II/Critical thinking, Sociology, or Chinese class because my science courses that I'm planning on dropping (Organic chemistry, and Microbiology) are just way too difficult to take at the same time in one semester. So I am wondering you anyone could help me look for a college class that offers those three courses around mid November maybe even late October 2009. Any California Community College would do because it is usually around 20 dollars per credit. But I can't seem to find one that starts around this time. Most of them started in October (Cerritos, Citrus, and Mission College) for late start. Can anyone help me? Since today is the last day to drop, I really need to find classes today. I need to take classes for this semester because if I don't, I wont be able to get into my dream college for next fall which I can't afford to wait another year because my parents want me to graduate before I turn 24 and I'm already over 20. I need at least two of either English 2, Sociology, or Chinese. Even an affordable college credited online university will do. Thank you so much! I am a 16 year old high school junior living in a small town in Southeastern Missouri. I am in the school band and I play the alto sax. I am learning the guitar and drums as well. I attend a church in the Church of God(Anderson, In.) denomination. I am a very active member of my local church and youth group. As well as an officer in my school FCA(it is a Christian club). I am planning on attending Mid-America Christian University(it is affiliated with my denomination) in Oklahoma City, and eventually becoming a youth pastor.

Some of you all might remember me from the past, back when CF had a teen forum. I went by RipleyCountyChristian back then. I just recently found out CF was still alive, so I thought I'd return to my favorite forum. Hope you all are doing well.
