Morning all AT work again today. Starting four 12 hour day shifts

Can't get myself going to write anything here properly just now but I'll come back later and do it. need to catch up on yesterday as well, so much to tell

Bit of a mixed bag today. Stepson and partner have gotten themselves a flat (apartment) up in Glasgow. They have been staying with us all summer, but are moving out, and into the flat, today(I love them both dearly but the house has been a chaotic tip all summer)

So they have hired a van and Laura is driving them up there today, and then coming back down with the van tomorrow. So up early this morning to go get that picked up at 7.30am, got it all packed and saw them...

Well collecting last night went well. Got a good bit of the area I'd envelopoed back in. I'm at least on schedule, maybe a tad ahead. Very tired by time I'd finished last night though. Enveloping in the afternoon then collecting in the evening, on the day I was coming off night shifts, is hard going. No matter, tis all for the kingdom

Anyway, no SD for me today (SD means self denial, which is what the Army used to call it's Annual Appeal...and many of us still do). Today I head back...
