Apologetics

For me, apologetics has been a passion and a hobby. I devour books like crazy. I actually enjoy it when JWs, Mormons, or anyone else knocks on my door offering religious alternatives.

Its actually kind of easy accumulating the knowledge part of it, especially if one knows how to do the research. But the knowledge is only the tip of the iceberg. Its not enough to simply win the argument.

In the last few years I've been reading and reflecting on some books whose titles...

Great Books of the Christian Tradition

Sometimes its fun to read a book about books. One of my favorites is Great Books of the Christian Tradition written by Terry Glaspey.

The heart of Glaspey's book consists of short, positive descriptions of many of the Christian classics. I've used it as a springboard to locate a lot of books I don't think I would have ever read otherwise.

Glaspey listed his "top ten" toward the back of the book. I think when I first read Glaspey's book I had read maybe 3. Now...
