81. take hold of my heart

Well, here I am... back after an extended absence.
ECT, blah. I went through 10 treatments, and it didn't help a great deal, which was trés disappointing... kind of. I don't know. It's not a scary procedure at all, and I really like the people who did it. I was only IP from Sunday to Wednesday (I think) and then my mum drove me up for the other treatments. You're not allowed to drive yourself, since you go under general anaesthesia and can be quite confused after treatment.
So I'm back, and doing okayish.
Today I'm really tired. Ugh. I got up at 5am; I'm turning into an early bird, thanks to my husband's influence (hehe). I tried to take a nap but it didn't work... blah, blah blah blah.
I don't really have that much to say, so this is kind of a "nonupdate," as one of my friends calls entries like this.
Yesterday my bestie and I went to the mall. I was in need of some girl-time and it was good to have some. She bought a pair of good athletic sneakers, and I bought a bag (string backpack) and two books. It was a lot of fun, even though it was a little awkward for me, buying more stuff than she did. Oh well. Heh. Her sneakers cost more than what I bought (all together)... so it evened out in the end. And Jarrod got some guy-time on WoW while I was gone, so it was all good. Hehe.
Then we (J&I) walked to the library in the afternoon. That was nice, although it was frigid outside... brrr. I'm glad I wore my winter coat. We checked out some books and then headed back. It's not that far of a walk, probably about three quarters of a mile... so it's one that will be welcome in the summer. Yeyyy...
And that's the end of the nonupdate. Woohoo...
