My Vent about Media Coverage of a Very, Real Threat

I just want to get this out.
I'll first acknowledge that I may missed the media coverage on North Korea. I've been trying to watch FoxNews, MSNBC, CNN and any source I can find. Grant it, I miss CNN because I think of timing or I don't know the channels.
Is it just me or is this probable next Cold War getting put under the rug because of a Republican's hayday with an adultress and because of, another fight from the people of Iran against their government, healthcare "progression"(I put that in quotes because I am skeptical but willing to listen before I complain yet)? I mean its bad enough that we don't see segments keeping a cautious eye on the market because of what happened in the Great Depression when there the first crash, then the markets go up and then another crash and how some people are concerned about that happening again and the screenshots of that poor ole governor of N.C. making some apology on TV...lookie here another politician guilty of adultery and btw, I wish the media would just COVER it, not make pathetic segments on it because of the wife and children and the friends that governor has hurt so bad or watching the coverage of some girl claiming the tattoo shop screwed her over with her tattoos and got too many, which to be honest, I really could careless about.
I mean no disrespect to all of this stuff and I'm not meaning to give a cold shoulder (well that tattooed girl thing, well, she is making herself seem like nothing more than a con artist but hey who knows) to all of this but...
This issue with North Korea should be at least the top 3 reported news. Not innocent Iranians dieing when our government has no diplomacy with their government so we don't even recognize the elections by the basic denial of no diplomatic relations and the president has already done a resolution to condemn and wisely been keeping the rhetoric down about his condemnation to a somewhat "mild tone", not some politicians immorality, not the quite humerous fights between Democrats and Republicans. Everything with our economy and if the policies are working from Obama should be one. I'm satisfied with the coverage of that. The healthcare "progression" is getting plenty of coverage. What about the fact that North Korea has threatened to "wipe out the United States" if we get involved with stopping their nuclear tests? U.S. dismisses latest missile provocation by North Korea - CNN.com Sure this could be a threat to test the new administration as the administration officials tell us and of course new threats are nothing new.
Call me an alarmist but, I'll say one thing on the behalf of the Old USSR government. They were smart, strategic, and again smart and extremely intelligent. They may have been oppressive, evil, whatever but they were smart. North Korea? Sorry but I'm not there yet with the smart part in regards to this nuclear program that they want at what seems to be any cost, which again is nothing new...hence my point. I'm more afraid that North Korea is on a hair trigger. Plus I am torn between their arguments and ours.
I'm very anti-nuclear weapons, but until the world is rid of them(I love how the Russian government don't know where some are...that is so comforting ya know?) I would support a global scale of disarming all nuclear capability, even nuclear power not used for weapons simply because we know now the travesty when one weaponizes nuclear power, and its going to be worse than WWII about 100x worse, yet until then I say defend for the worst case scenario because a very scary thing was once said by a brilliant man that I think is very possible:
So please, someone tell me that I'm over-exaggerating about the lack of media coverage. Someone tell me I am wrong. If I am, then someone give me internet news sources covering this or/both which television news source is giving the best coverage.
