new beginnings always

My brother-in-law is doing better. Last I heard he was wanting to go to church. Before everything exploded, he had told someone that he'd been an atheist the past 3 years. But I believe that God chases hearts. Sometimes we need to fall on our back to realize this. He still needs love and prayer but I know things are going to be okay.

I believe that when you love and follow God, then even our screw-ups can be turned around. As humans we will fail at times. Being Christians...

The sad thing about this May 21 thing is that it's creating a false sense of security and pride in people. Okay maybe not creating, cause it's always been there. But it sure is bringing it out more into the open. And we are all so prideful to think that we're all okay. That there is no God. Not that I'm saying the end is near. But the more we push God out of our lives, the more we lose his blessings... and then....

God is working in the situation and some other things. Amazing he is. How everything is coming together.

Wow...Haven't been here in over a year.

My past year has been met with quite a bit of ups and downs. More downs than ups...but I guess that's how I am. I am so easily moved by the people around me that I often sabotage myself. But...I never live with regret. I've already been through enough and come out of it blessed that I'm trying to take each "event" and learn from it.

At least as much as I allow myself.
