New Wineskins vs Old Wineskins

Luke 5: 37-39.

37 Also, no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and be spilled, and the skins too will be ruined. 38 On the contrary, new wine must be put into freshly prepared wineskins. 39 Besides that, after drinking old wine, people don't want new; because they say, `The old is good enough.'"


Upon looking closely at this scripture it can be seen that it is set right smack in the middle of Yeshua calling his disciples....

Still Questioning

So, here I am still not sure about a believer celebrating Easter and Christmas. In and of the religious observance of both I don't have an issue. I just don't understand why in our day and age when from so much research we continue to observe these occasions not only on the dates they did not happen but they also incorporate the usage of items from pagan rituals alongside their observances. Why do we do that?

Many say it's harmless fun. In and of itself, I might agree. But these
