I'm in a marriage where my wife has said she'll never trust me. I had lose ends in a previous relationship where I chose to lie by omission to an ex, thinking I was protecting my wife. She found out and things have never been the same, based on the simple fact, "I did something I said I wouldn't do."

Now it's to the point that everything I say, do, ask, or even speak about is questioned. The environment is volitile and I'm afraid it's going to esculate. We've tried counseling,prayer, and everything else required of Christians. What else can I do?
