My Mother is an Adulturer

Posted 25th January 2012 at 12:20 AM by jlj01527
this is what i wrote tonight to help me deal with this dilemmam, I would love for people to leave comments, am I going about this the right way?:
To be a true servant of God we need to understand ourselves better, the better you can understand yourself the closer you become to God. We are sent here to become more in the image of our God, to worship and to learn holiness. We are on a constant struggle to be holy; we face trial and tribulation every day. We face humanized traits, we are tempted at all times, and there is no break. We don’t get a lunch hour from God or the devil. Both are always there, where your faith lies are where your strengths or weaknesses will be. The minute you begin to take a break from God is the moment evil floods your life. You’re blinded by things you can’t understand, you make mistakes that can twist your core till you feel lifeless, so you must never take a break from God. We have this falsified feeling of power, but what real power to we have? We think that we are untouchable, this is wrong. We are fragile creatures, man or woman needs to realize that we are capable of a happy life if we put our faith in the right place. As God’s servant you are tested, it isn’t always easy but this is what builds your faith, temptation is at its highest when the devil feels threatened. There are things we need to except and learn as servants of God, he is powerful and is pure. We can start with judgment; we are all children of the kingdom, all equal, all loved. Who are we to pass judgment on one another? We are only man, we all make mistakes, leave the judgment to our God who knows all, for he knows, sees, and feels all things. Next we face forgiveness. First as I understand it, we are forgiven for all our sins if only we ask as it says in Proverbs 28:13 “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” But I feel that in this faith you must truly repent for what you have done, you cannot just knowingly, willingly sin because you think you will be forgiven if you just ask for it. This is where faith comes into play, if you know something is evil, if you know something is going to lead to temptation straying you away from God you must fight it, this makes you more holy. At times you may stray from God from your faith, but this feeling of remorse afterwards gives you the opportunity to return to your true calling to God. Now for your forgiveness of yourself and others, God is all loving. So therefore we must be too. Strength comes from soul, a connection with God. We must love one another as he loves each of us. Colossians 3:13 states clearly “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you might have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” This biblical verse is a huge step into being holy. We want to judge out of human nature, but we must remember we once hung our savior upon a mountain top by a cross, to save us and clean us of our sins, God’s only son. Jesus was fully divine and fully human at the same time, he was what we should all strive to be. We as a people persecuted him and yet he claims hanging from his cross in Luke 23:34 “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Now we begin to think, do we throw stones at the Mary Magdalene in front of us, do we shun the modern day woman who bleeds for years and we curse as an untouchable, do we abandon our fellow man because of sin or mistake? 1 John 2:6 “Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked” So I say no we forgive them and lead them back to God. We teach them what we know is holy and just. We continue the work of our savior Jesus Christ on this planet. James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
