The last two chapters have been covering the building of a new temple. Taking some time to get a grip on everything and not sure even now that I understand it all. What it seems to me is that Ezekiel is seeing God returning. Great detail outlines the new temple that is going to be build. God wants a relationship restored and he wants it to be a grand/beautiful thing. That is his desire. That is the future when we turn/return to him.

Today's reading Ezekiel 39.

For me this morning it is difficulty to understand this passage. Bible study notes focus on God hiding his face from Israel. I feel this is an example of God's love. Reason for this is if you disappoint God he will discipline you. This is not a bad thing. For me I see this as a learning experience. God is trying to show me why, and how he wants me to live.

Prayer: thank you God for loving me so much that you try to show me the right way...

My Scripture today is Ezekiel 38:1-23.

Needed some help in understanding this chapter. General overview appears to be that God knows all and will take care of his people. Also by helping his people he also will show the world that he is real. I guess this chapter also demonstrates that through challenges, tough times, we can see God and his works.

Ezekiel 37:1-28

A very interesting way of displaying how God can change ones life (offer a new life). Trust in him seems to be what this is saying to me. I know it is much more than this but at this time in my life I think this message is what I need to hear.

I pray that I will continue to read and learn. Lean and live so my family can learn and grow. Lord breath new life in me and help me let go of the old.

Today my study focused on. Psalm 127.

What touched me was versus 1 and 2.
"Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the LORD protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones."
