Ever since by son was able to talk he always wanted to talk about his day just before he went to sleep. I guess he never wanted to forget what he did. I wish I could say the same, but I can not. I can however look back and learn.
who and why do we work.

Today my study focused on. Psalm 127.
What touched me was versus 1 and 2.
"Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the LORD protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones."
As a father I am responsible for providing for my family. It also appears that nothing is wrong working hard to do this. God however doesn't want me to focus completely on this task but rather focus on how this serves and/or glorifies God. God will provide the rest.
My prayer this morning is to teach my family that all that we do should be for the glory of God.
