This is my first blog as godsgirl79, sometimes it's nice to start new and fresh. I want to start out with a praise report that we found a good family for our dog. We almost put her in the pound because she has allergies that we have been trying to treat however my daughter has allergies too and her allergies have been getting worse due to the dog's itching and shedding to the point that the moment she walks in the door her eyes watered, swelled and itched. So we put her on craigslist first and I was doubtful that anyone would want her but sent up a prayer for her anyways and sure enough a very nice family took her in and I'm confident that they'll take good care of her so I am very happy about that. Now we are hoping to find another dog to make up for her loss (there's an empty spot now, we all miss her) that might be better for my daughter's allergies. Soon after the couple came to get our dog I pulled all the kids aside and we said a prayer thanking God for being good and giving Aspen a good home, at the time my daughter was in tears because she loved aspen a lot but I encouraged her to be greatful for giving aspen a good home where she will be loved and well taken care of. After that I helped her write a letter to our dog telling her that she loved and missed her and I think that helped her feel better. God, you are good. You do good things all the time. How can we ever doubt you? Remind us of how big you are always. We serve an awsome God. Thank you!
