Dear Girlfriend: To Conservative Christians.

Dear Girlfriend: This letter is not to judge the conservative christians; for who am I to judge. But I feel compelled to say:
Conservative Christians, I just don't understand you.
You pray: O' Lord, your will be done; however, when He answers and when His answer is in conflict with your political agenda, you began to take matters into your own hands.
Regardless to what you may feel, the Lord used the Supreme Court Justice "Robert" to fulfill His will. Yet, you are angry...like a mob yelling REPEAL! REPEAL!
I despise seeing Christians divided (I'm sure the Lord despise it too). Drop your political labels and remember that you, as a Christian, represent the Lord, an ambassdor for the Kingdom...not for this world!
As I leave, I would like to advise you, as Gamaliel, the Pharisee, advised the Sanhedrin:
And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; BUT if it is of GOD, you cannot overthrow it...lest you even be found to fight against GOD!

Gamaliel's Advice: Acts 5: 34-39.

 |  As someone who is very conservative, it is my honest opinion that we live in a Godless nation. It is legal to kill unborn children and fornicate. It is true that God appoints all leaders, but God also appoint evil leaders to govern over even Israel (King Ahab). And not every decision that the government makes is certainly godly. Solomon, for example, deliberately disobeyed God by bringing pagan worship into Israel. |
