I will be using this space to share my sermons and anything else that may be of interest, or that I may need to remember: I have been blessed by the Lord in a great many ways, but sadly have not been blessed with a good long-term memory!

General prayer meeting.

Reading: Matthew 27:1-7

Sermon: Charity

You may be wondering why I chose the death of Judas as a centrepiece to this meeting, and that is of course a valid question. I want to talk today not about the death of our Lord, but about charity.

We here are fortunate to have such a tithing system, where we see the fruits of our charity first-hand. However, this can in turn lead to a very dangerous feeling - a feeling of pride....

Sermon: Spreading Your Wings
Today's reading builds upon the discussion we had last week, on the feast of the Trinity, how as Debra put it, "God has three players on his team". And I think that's a very good way to think about it. Yet, even though the three players are distinct individuals, they operate with one defined purpose, one mind, and one spirit. "The Father and I are one," Jesus said.
