Who are you living to please?

Have you ever looked up the word “all” in the dictionary? We use the word so commonly, that it seems pointless to even look it up. But, when we reflect on the meaning as it relates to our walk before the Lord it can offer an abundance of revelations.

Hearing instead of venting

In the multitude of prayer request, many fail to honor the Lord with an open heart to instruction. As Christians we are taught to bring our request before the Lord. Consequently, many have gotten into the habit of spending practically their entire prayer time, venting.

Never in vain

Years ago I attended my grandfather’s funeral. Story after story people expressed their gratitude for his loving kindness. As I listened closely, Mark 12:30-31 continued to come to my mind. Until finally, I felt compelled to go up to the podium to share what the Lord had placed on my heart. But, unlike the others I wasn’t there to reminisce about my grandfather but instead to glorify the Lord's name.

I was lead to share that "love" was the one commonality from every story...

How clean is your cup?
