When we were part of a Vineyard chruch planting in a small northern state city I remember reading a book by John Sanford with the title 'Healing the Wounded Spirit.' In it he wrote of his experience as a pastor dealing with members of his fellowship who seemed hurt by past relationships in a way that damaged their soul to the extent that they had a wounded spirit. His experience in dealing with them was written as stories in counseling and prayer. I sat with him and the pastor of our fellowship...
