Listening to God

Posted 11th October 2009 at 03:23 PM by AngelicRose
I'm currently reading a collection of books by Joyce Meyer on depression, stress, fear, insecurity-- all of those negative emotions that seem to tackle us and prevent us from having positive, uplifting, and rewarding lives. A passage came up in a section titled "The Promptings of the Spirit" that spoke to me. The verses are 1 Kings 19:11-12 (NAB):

I'm beginning a study of this book in hopes of becoming a stronger Catholic Christian. I received the book through an online Catholic study site, located at this site: Catholic Home Study Service

Since the book includes some questions at the end of the chapter, I need a place where I can write down my thoughts and so I have decided to use my account blog here at CF.
