God and Time

Are the concepts of God and time incoherent?

Some will charge that God’s timelessness is not consistent with His other attributes.

For example, if God is timeless, it is not possible for Him to be omniscient, given that there are some things His creatures would know, and God could not know, such as what time it is. No Neutral Ground Between the Believer and the Non-Believer

Van Til eschewed any apologetic that would end up proving a god exists, for this would be denying the Scriptures and their teachings that the unbeliever can even be met on a common ground, for the unbeliever is wholly at enmity with God. Van Til also believed strongly that Christian theism is a unit, and any apologetic that compromised the unity of Christianity was a faulty apologetic.

The Non-Believer's Irrationality

The Apostle Paul says that all men have knowledge of God. So if a person has propositional knowledge at a point in time, then that person has knowledge of God. But either not all men have knowledge of God because some people believe that they do not have knowledge of God due to a defeater, which is a reason that they have to not to believe something, and one cannot know what they do not believe, or knowledge of God cannot be reached. Therefore, not all men know that God exist.

Sola Scriptura

Often, when discussing the sole authority of the Scripture, an argument is raised that the canon of Scripture was not even defined until a council met and set the canon. Yet, in truth the councils received the canon, they did not define the canon.

As the Westminster Confession states 1.4:
IV. The authority of the Holy Scripture, for which it ought to be believed, and obeyed, depends not upon the testimony of any man, or Church; but wholly upon God (who is truth itself) the author thereof:
