Does the Great Commission apply to all believers?

We find in 1 Cor 14:26, 33, 40, that everything in the church is to be done decently, in order, peacefully, and for edification. Elsewhere we read the office of elder was charged with the leadership and the governance of the church, and to do so they formed a presbyterium (1 Tim. 4:14).

There can also be no doubt that Christ founded the church and entrusted it with certain powers. After all, our Lord spoke of the church...

The Causes of Salvation

"First, the originating cause of salvation is the eternal purpose of God, or in other words, the predestinating grace of the Father.

Second, the meritorious cause of salvation is the mediation of Christ, this having particular respect to the legal side of things, or, in other words, His fully meeting the demands of the Law on the behalf of and in the stead of those He redeems.
