Someone very dear to me went to be with the Lord. He died a bit after 4 A.M. and I got the call around 6:30. I had been up since a bit before 4 A.M. I'll share with you some pics @ the end that I took of the sky on the morning of January 6th, 2012.

This man was a good and decent man, husband and father. A teacher by profession, a singer and active in the church. He and his wife helped out needy young ladies with foster care. All these things, decent good things, I heard by the two pastors speaking about him. One pastor was the wife's brother. Beaming with praise for both husband and wife, the other didn't really seem to fit. Something struck me sitting there in the pew........ even though the man suffered from Alzheimers later in his life, there was not one mention of the man's faith. It took me a while to properly digest and just to try to express how I felt about not hearing something I considered so vitally important............ faith. I am still somewhat taken aback.

I thank you Lord for taking Him in the way that you did, instead of leaving my dear friend in such mental anguish and suffering. Amen

Peace and blessings
