Posted 8th March 2009 at 11:20 AM by newtaste Last night I was invited to a local church to hear a talk given by the leader of a Christian community charity that I have recently joined. The talk she gave was about how the group visits a local city park one evening a week to distribute free hot food, clothing and blankets to the homeless and disadvantaged. While the food is distributed, there is a bible reading, an inspiring talk, worship songs and prayer for anyone who needs help.
