No, its a good thing honestly-- giving up on yourself so that you can finally have God show you how it should be done. Our parents do it for us as children--- allow us to try to complete some task that we can't as a child and when we're frustrated and we realize we can't do it, our Mom or Dad will come and show us how it should be done.
