Another week of school--- it's flying by already... that scares me honestly because I know I'm going to actually miss this first year when its done. [Teachers never get their first year back, so as HARD as it is, it's still very special]

We're working with Wisconsin Fast Plants and I'm praying that they haven't completely dried up and died over the weekend. The watering system basically stinks and doesn't absorb water correctly. But what I *do* like about this lesson is this: the point...

I've been teaching now for almost a full month (Oct 3rd will be the anniversary) and I *think* that I've probably learned alot this past month. Though I very honestly feel as if I haven't learned a single thing because of how overwhelmed I feel most of the time. Right now its 4am and I can't sleep... again... as my mind is awake thinking about what I should or should not be teaching tomorrow and the rest of the week.

I have a curriculum in place but honestly it's boring as anything---...

The move is done, we're almost unpacked (my sister and I... I still have a ton more boxes to do for my room), and we brought kitty to the apartment. Been quite an adventure, but things have been going smoothly around here so far. We had amazing movers to help us (which I found out my school is going to pay for the moving costs, thank God, plus the movers did such a great job that it didn't cost as much as the estimate). My parents even stayed after the movers left to help us unpack some, put furniture...
