This comes up in threads over in the World Religions thread quite a bit so I thought I would blog it here. Here's a quick rundown of my beliefs as a Neopagan (modern westernized eclectic witch).

Modern indicates I'm not practicing any type of ancient pagan traditions. I suppose the Neo prefix already takes care of that. I'm up on my science, too.

Westernized distinguishes my beliefs from other traditions around the world like Asian, African, or Caribbean forms of paganism....

For the last year or so I've been changing my avatar on a weekly basis, but each week, it's a different picture of my favorite Tiny Toon Adventures' star, Plucky Duck.

On September 13, 2011, a life shattering event occurred. I was witness to the premier of the most epic cartoon that has ever been produced and may very well be the best cartoon ever.

I'm talking about The Looney Tunes Show episode #17 which contained the short titled, "Daffy Duck the Wizard"....

Anyone who recognizes me in the World Religions section knows that I'm a huge fan of American cartoons; especially Warner Brothers.

You probably also noticed my avatar changes on average once a week, but for the last several months, is always a different picture of Plucky Duck.

I figure I'll fill you in on who Plucky Duck is before I start projecting religion onto his character.

I see a lot of Christians ask, "What is a Pagan doing hanging around a Christian forum if you aren't interested in converting?"

That's a good question, and I don't think it's unreasonable to be a little suspicious.

Well, I will say this is the only Christian site I go to, and for the longest time, the Christian and World Religions (formerly Non Christian Religions) was the only sub forum I read.
