If there is one thing that I am beginning to understand about God it is that He is able to revive, restore and help us get back up on our feet again

I am on a bit of a journey at the moment, with God, with life

I have a tough situation that is constant in my life and am owndering if I should leave or if God really does want me to stay

When does mental health come into a decision? Is God okay with a person saying I need to look after my mental health and leave, I dont know if thats okay with you God, I hope this isnt where you wanted me to stay, I'm sorry if this is disobedience to you to leave, is it failing God...

so the working on Sunday thing was a bad decision. I don't go in for legalism over it but I know now that I miss church real bad.
so now I need to find another job somehow.
sigh!

but on the up side, me and God have been having some interesting discussions/wrestlings over things lately. Have come to the conclusion that "wrestling with God" is probably actually me wrestling with me to get myself into line with God

what to say?

well, I have a new job - it's working a couple of Sundays a month so that isn't so great but it's regular work.
don't know if it's ok to work on sunday, but hey it's something i'm doing and i've said to God that i don't like it but it's happening so hope it's alright. at least being honest with God i guess, that it's not something I want to do because of Him.

but i think it's God's mercy really too because of Mark 12, the beginning of that chapter,...

I wanted to post a picture but can't seem to unfortunately. It's about where I feel I am with God at the moment.

God is faithful and I know He always will be.
But me and God is different that it used to be.

And in order to walk with more integrity I've changed the picture on my username to the picture of a child holding onto God's finger.

That is how I feel it is with me and God. He's there to hold onto but it's up to me too to reach out and...
