First of all I would like to say that Ted Dekker is my favorite author. My mom got me Chosen for Christmas one year and my interest developed from there into pure fascination. As a huge Dekker fan, I am quite accustomed to walking away from one of his novels perplexed and filled with questions. I did not expect that to happen in this book, but it did anyway.
