I've been doing this a lot lately, looking for a job. Times are tough and pastors' pay isn't all that great, even with the master's degree.

At any rate, I applied for a word processing job. Pay was adequate, although well under what I am used to getting paid. But hey, we figured a bit of "mad money" would be nice.

Today I got an email from the company stating that they believed me to be overqualified and they were looking for someone with LESS qualifications....

I don't even have the words to convey how disgusted I am right now after reading an article where Nicholas Provenzo condemns Sarah Palin for giving birth to her Downs Syndrome baby, Trig. Below is an excerpt from the article:

"Given that Palin's decision is being celebrated in some quarters, it is crucial to reaffirm the morality of aborting a fetus diagnosed with Down syndrome (or by extension, any unborn fetus)—a freedom that anti-abortion advocates seek to deny," he adds....
