I wrote once, here recently, that I do not feel things the way that other people do. But I have come to realize that I do, in fact, feel, but I do not feel the same way about the same things as other people. In reading the Bible I used to get choked up over the Psalms and over Isaiah 52 and the story of His Passion...and there's nothing wrong with that. I’ve become a phantom of sorts, a dream to the sticks-and-rocks world that surrounds me, and I have no explanation for this other than to point to tenuous similarities between The Matrix and other such “alternate unreal realities” type movies and literature that exists in this whole wide world we live in. Well, I say the similarities are “tenuous” but the fact of the matter is that some of the parallels between their worlds and mine are so “spot on” that I wonder if I haven’t really taken a trip...

God is doing amazing things in my life...and I do mean amazing things. He brought me back from Iraq because my girlfriend asked Him to (I was working there FOR the army as a Civilian...I was a mechanic), but first He sent me to California (I'm from East Texas) for nearly three months where I lived day to day strictly by His provision and nothing more, and then He brought me to Arizona (where my girlfriend is) without me even having to spend a dime.
