Lord grace Your word to crush and break
To heal to make us whole
Forgive our folly help us make
Commitments for our soul

Commitments through Your Christ and Son
Your Spirit Truth and Light
To stand until we’ve finally won
Steadfast through the fight

Till love has sealed the devil’s fate
All demon hordes are bound
Committed Lord the loyal wait
To rise on Holy Ground

Committed to the work at hand

Always The Same.....

If Christ as Lord we can't confess
If Heaven's not one’s goal
Errant; the heart's festooned with stress
And danger plagues one's soul

How quickly wealth becomes one's share
When life is less than sweet
How slow we are to come in prayer
Or sit at Jesus' feet

Yet after all is said and done
As flesh returns to clay
The Lord of life God's Lamb and Son
Will still His love display

When sick; how quickly knees...

I can’t forget He died for me
I can’t forget He lives
I can’t forget on bended knee
How much He loves and gives

I can’t forget He too is there
When quiet in my room
When in regret, when in despair
He’ll vanquish tears of gloom

I can’t forget the little things
The miracles He’s done
The feeling that the presence brings
Victories sought and won

Imagining my life before
Remembering the tears...

When darkness bills and Satan coos
God’s Spirit stands us true
But selfishness may cause one lose
God’s righteous point of view

As countless have so oft before
As children of the night
Through sin, to God we close the door
Afraid to face The Light

It’s always been the devil’s plan
To cheat to steal to lie
To clamp sin’s chains on wayward man
In sin and shame to die
