Who turn or drift from Heaven’s King
Who seek else where life’s goal
Swiftly may find sweet songs to sing
Slowly losing one’s soul

Who else can hear us when we pray?
Who else can show us grace?
Who else can stand on judgment day?
Pleading our shameful case

How foolish must a person be?
How ignorant how blind?
Refusing that which love gives free
To follow one’s own mind

Creation is revealed too plain
God’s handwork clear in view
That Heaven’s Lamb would die in vain
For such as me and you

Yet though the fields are white and green
Though these are perilous days
Still fool and wise man can be seen
Seeking their selfish ways

There must be something else to gain
Something worth all the strife
Something, someone to ease the pain
Giving meaning to life

If Satan’s real if Christ is true
If one is sure to lose
Which way of these would you pursue?
If you could pick and choose

Let wisdom reign a little while
Consider lives at stake
Consider who’s gone the extra mile
And proved the other fake
