...Spit It Out
Posted 9th February 2009 at 09:41 AM by bornagain91
The crocodile protects it’s young
In quite the strangest way
They’ll hide beneath their mother’s tongue
That none should go astray
We too, just like the crocodile
Protect the things we love
Oft hiding them behind a smile
That fits just like a glove
It’s not our young we hide within
Though some would do the same
Instead it’s Satan’s fruit of sin
Demonic filth and shame
Satanic fair taste often sweet –Job.20:12
Yet sour, to heart and bowel –Job.20:14
Venom so strong, it brings defeat
Like lions on the prowl
Who serve The Lord, will fear His chide
Yet some will cheat and lie
Beneath the tongue, their darlings hide
To secret multiply
But thus to live, can none afford
With lies, deceit and doubt
We must be true to Christ The Lord
We need to spit them out!
Although such things are of the foe
We taste them every day
It’s hard for us to let them go
So ’neath the tongue they stay
But woe to those who gulp them down
Who drinks the devil’s cup
Take care, you stand to lose your crown –Job.20:15
And God may spew you up
In quite the strangest way
They’ll hide beneath their mother’s tongue
That none should go astray
We too, just like the crocodile
Protect the things we love
Oft hiding them behind a smile
That fits just like a glove
It’s not our young we hide within
Though some would do the same
Instead it’s Satan’s fruit of sin
Demonic filth and shame
