Everything comes from God above
Both Heaven and earth agree
That peace will only come through love
Once truth has set us free

When lost mankind does Heaven’s will
By righting things gone wrong
Love’s grace will dawn her heart to fill
With joy to sing life’s song

But still our wars on earth increase
It seems that no one cares
What is this thing the world calls peace?
What are the fruit it bears?

We need to learn to pray as one
To cease each selfish fight
Until true peace through love is won
Till hearts through Christ unite

Before mankind can live as blessed
The Truth the world must see
Her differences must come to rest
Her wars must cease to be

We disagree through injured pride
We kill because of hate
Because of foolish things inside
To love, we close the gate

When through mankind true peace we sow
Guided by love and grace
In individuals faith can grow
To seek The Father’s face

What is true peace without true love?
How can the world survive?
How can a soul join Christ above?
