Christ Our Hope.....

Of filth we seek our minds to fill
We disobey God’s plan
We rob we cheat we lie and kill
The truth and fellow man

Seeking the devil’s cup to drink
Swimming in Satan’s flow
There is no depth we wouldn’t sink
No length we wouldn’t go

God says to love with heart and might
To treat all neighbours fair
To live in peace sharing the light
With others everywhere

But steeped in sin we prowl at...

What price for health would man afford?
Which length for wealth we’d go?
What glory do we give The Lord?
For Heaven’s gratis flow

Is not creation in God’s hand?
Is not through Christ we live?
Should faith not rise from every land?
For all He died to give

Give thanks for all our eyes can see
For hearts beating through love
For suffering upon The Tree
For man to rise above

Give praise to God...

By grace I sing Your praise my King
With love and my desire
Allow my song on angel wing
Set other souls afire

Though fools may scoff may laugh in scorn
May ridicule my song
In faith I pray we’ll see The Dawn
Where wisdom proves them wrong

Allow their eyes their heart to see
Allow repentance flow
Their souls from darkness Lord set free
And make them white as snow

While shadows quiver, wild winds blow
Many fear to die
While few contend against the foe
Seeking God’s face on high

What is to fear, why should we care?
What darkness has in mind?
We’ve Christ as Lord, life’s promised share
And eyes no longer blind

We see the future, see the past
The present far and near
Knowing the devil’s dye is cast
What need have we to fear?

We’re called to live walk...

Who of us war against The Lord?
Who disobeys The King?
What foolishness could man afford?
To dam life’s righteous spring

Depraved; this world is lost and blind
Corrupt through self desire
Who can bring freedom to her mind?
And save from endless fire

What could trouble her soul within?
Convince of filth inside
Reveal the consequence sin
She’d wish to turn the tide
