So arrogant and proud am I?
Frustrating heart and soul
How can I live how can I die?
And reach life’s unseen goal?

How can I lose this foolish pride?
From arrogance be free
Rid of darkness warring inside
That Light may shine in me

Lord dear God receive my prayer
Lend ear my humble plea
Consume the evil I declare
This wickedness You see

Remove from me this mask of lies
Filth poisoning...

Palaces churches crumble down
Pillars and posts give way
Where discord wears its evil crown
Where trust is in decay

Yet love turns Winter into Spring
Contentment to abide
Where prayer soaring on angel’s wing
Brings harmony inside

God loves when harmony changes life
Where humble souls succeed
He sees where true love conquers strife
And meets His children’s need

No longer blind to plot and scheme...

When darkness whiles when shadows dance
When devils sing their songs
With heart full praise I’ll raise my glance
To where my soul belongs

Though pain though torment cause affray
Shadows invade my night
No doubt will cause to lead astray
The soul that seeks The Light

No wealth or fame will cause to swerve
Nor vanities cause to sway
With heart and soul my God I’ll serve
Walking His chosen way

Healthy wealthy are everywhere
Thriving as none before
Yet few show love or tend to care
Beyond their own front door

No thought of Him who gave us life
Who causes faith and trust
Who cures all ills, ends all strife
And crushes foes to dust

Because in life all nature’s free
Most doubt, shaking one’s head
So few give thanks or bend their knee
Where love is daily bread

Neighbours we see as pests...

In blistering heat torrential rain
Struggling day and night
I’m smiling at the storm again
Fighting the righteous fight

What have I done or said so wrong?
That darkness wields its sword
Don’t troubles rise to make me strong?
With victory’s as reward

Will God not stretch His mighty arm?
Demand the wind be still
Direct the storms of life to calm
And bow to Heaven’s will
