Serving the bride, a man and wife
Had Heaven’s will in view
Walking in victory though this life
They saw what each should do

Depending on the work being done
Regardless night or day
Both hand in hand they’d work as one
Within their separate way

To all they were a great delight
They’d heard Their Saviour’s call
They tried to live their lives just right
And gave the bride their all

Where is the grass on earth so green?
There’ll be no need to move
What else should lustful eyes have seen?
Or selfish egos prove

Some think they’re God and seek to reign
From truth they won’t be told
They live their lives on earth in vain
With all their worldly gold

Some think God’s Son should condescend?
Once more for them to die
They think His Father’s knee should bend?
Their sin to rise on high

This life’s not always what it seems
This world will not remain
Fools will dream their futile dreams
And live their lives in vain

The shrewd today would heed God’s call
Would open Christ their door
Salvation’s rain inside would fall
And light would dawn for sure

The devil’s reign would cease to be
Darkness would quit the land
Wisdom would raise its head and see
And truly understand

God’ is true and Heaven...

With Satan and with hell
But who would rid them whilst they’re here?
Who lives to ring the bell?

The bell to sound the world alarm
To ring both night and day
To ring and warn of Satan’s charm
And save who’ve gone astray

There is a few The Truth Have seen
A few who’ve seen The Light
A few with love who intervene
Who death can stand and fight

THE BRIDGES OF LIFE
We risk in life to suffer loss
Even to find defeat
If when we burn each bridge we cross
Or turn from friends we meet

A bridge can lead to make a friend
Can lead to meet a foe
Can lead us to the rainbows end
Depending where we go

Exploring life with this is view
Keeping an open mind
Each day can start with something new
When eyes no more are blind
