Trouble and strife is all around
When will my problems cease?
Where is the answer to be found?
How can I find some peace?

Who can relieve this tortured mind?
How can I end my plight?
How can anxious nerves unwind?
And find some sleep at night

How many times I’ve wished to die?
Crying such bitter tears
But still the pressures multiply
Bringing these dreadful fears

Why is my life so full of stress?

I may not comprehend
Yet where You lead and where I go

I lived for self and gain
