LET BARRENNESS DIE
Shadows may cloud one’s shallow mind
Where darkness has a throne
Ignorance though makes searches blind
Who’s heart is cold as stone

Barren becomes one’s dormant might
Fruitless grow our days
When void of Truth deprived of Light
And lost to Heaven’s ways

We need to change the way we think
To evil bar the door
Of righteousness to eat and drink
Repenting shame before

We’d dwell The Promised Land
But lest we come as would a child
We fail to understand

We fail to see the truth of Christ
Redemption’s awesome plan
The reason why God sacrificed
His Son as mortal man

We fail to see man’s selfish ways
The grace of God on high
The perfect love that would amaze
A child who wonders why

Who seek the hand of God in theirs...
