This world is oft a battle ground
With pain lies and fears
Where conflicts wars where fights abound
Flooding souls with tears

So many living life of strife
May think this statement odd
Who hate their neighbour in this life
Is also hating God

Hate is the pride of Satan’s tools
Pouring it forth like wine
Filling cups of kings and fools
Displeasing the Divine

But love springs forth from Heaven’s...

Full of joy Heavenly thrilled
Longing with love to share
The victory song my soul has filled
With others everywhere

Pleasure beyond my wildest dreams
Such peace before unknown
Laughter flowing from living streams
Cascades from true love’s throne

My soul of God just wants to sing
Free of its sinful weight
Wanting to rise on eagle’s wing
To soar through Heaven’s gate

This world’s chock full of jails today
Depression fills each cell
Prisoners waiting judgment day
Then endless life in hell

Perhaps it’s you, who’s locked inside
Blind to salvation’s tree
Still bound with sin with foolish pride
You fail The Truth to see

The Truth of Christ upon The Cross
The Lamb who rose on high
Who chose for us to suffer loss
That we may never die

Deliverance; needs to come...

I’m walking back towards The Light
I see The Truth at last
It’s been a long and painful fight
But now it’s in the past

I see my God because of love
Because of saving grace
Your gift of faith to cry above
To seek my Father’s face

You know my heart the way I feel
The secrets of my soul
You know I know my God is real
That life is now my goal

I’m sorry that I went astray
Like fools errant...

God’s here there He’s everywhere
In ocean sea and land
With aged souls, children in prayer
Seeking His guiding hand

He’s not concerned of how one’s sat
He knows one’s heart and mind
But if there’s welcome on the mat
For neighbours lost and blind

He sees the humble soul that burns
Each burdened heart full tears
Anxieties, man’s grave concerns
All worries doubts and fears
