From Bad To Verse

However wrong we’ve been in life
Whatever life we’ve led
But if we’ve caused someone strife
God wouldn’t want us dead

But live, live, God wants us live
He wants us stay alive
He longs a sinner to forgive
And through His Son survive

It’s not the sin, or sin’s amount
Nor how or what we’ve done
Nothing remains on man’s account
When saved through Christ His Son

It’s not how dark we think our shame...

But from where is his power won
That we see so clear
Is He not the carpenter’s son?
Are not his siblings here?

So thought His neighbours walking dead
Who thought God’s Lamb to know
Until The Truth reaches the head
Like fools through life we go

But giving sight unto the blind
The prisoner setting free
Touching the heart touching the mind
For the future to see

Where the eyes are no longer...

It was forever and ever
That God made first His plan
He never designed to sever
His fellowship with man

It was Adam & Eve’s defiance
The disobedient pair
Believing in self reliance
That caused the dreadful tear

Eternity is still around
About those lost and blind
Hidden from those still blind
The lost who’d rise to Holy Ground
Who hope The Way to find

Like a spider on its silky thread
A lion with its prey
The devil stalks the walking dead
His demons lead astray

So seems the nature of things
Nights when shadows creep
Evil appears on eagle wings
While the church is asleep

Countless souls the devil’s won
Bound tight in chains of lust
Now less and less seek out God’s Son
While faith just gathers dust

The church must help God’s children live...

For You to claim Your bride
Please take us from this world of crime
Now with You to abide

You made us clean You set us free
Removed our heart of stone
You gave us children eyes to see
How evil we had grown

We all fall short and disobey
We all cause You to grieve
Like foolish sheep we go astray
Till Jesus we believe

Waiting until our lowest hour
