We are born in God's image and likeness ~Free

We all hear God's calling; it is His word. We all can pick up a Bible and read it no one has our hands tied. All people have the opportunity through the Apostleship of us as Christians to 'taste" what the message of Christ is all about. The problem is that not all do that. Not all would answer God's call. Some chose to shut the door to their maker...Why? Cause God would not intrude to our "autoexousion" our free will. God is himself free and not bound by any necessity to create us or the world. He created freely the humanity and the world. He bestowed in us that freedom. The freedom to love and love back. Without that God given freedom we would not be able to love since love presupposes freedom of the beloved to love back for if love is forced then it cannot be love but oppression.
By the mouth of Isaiah God promises: If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1: 19).
t. Ambrose explains, "that having granted the law to all, He excludes no one from His kingdom."
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
The blood of Jesus Christ is the miraculous ladder by which we all can ascend to paradise. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as ransom for all, says Paul (I Tim. 2:5). One died for all (2 Cor. 5:14). If He died for all, then He wants all to be saved. "The Son of Righteousness," we are told by St. Gregory the Theologian, "shown forth for all, lived for all and died and is risen for all."

| | Today I wanted to pen down my dieting progress! Well we should take care of our bodies as well as our souls and minds So I am down 6 pounds since last month I am happy about it and need to exercise daily. I will start tomorrow (hehe Monday) with my stationary bike and going to walk at the Mall. For Monday I plan to use my bike. Also my intake has gone down from two full meals to one full (lunch) and snacking for dinner ONLY with two juices of fresh veg and fruit. That outght to curve my appetite and give me more energy and nutrients. So far I have been juicing for about a month and a half. I gave up coffee about 2 weeks. I gave up milk, eggs and dairy about 2 months ago and ..no more runny nose of bloating. I kept the meat to once/twice a week with main meal vegetables and legums. Lentil and beans are great for soups I gave up white bread and eat only wheat multigrain. I sleep better and no more insomnia. I feel good just wishing the pounds would come rolling off...Target weight loss is 25 pounds and with just another 20 to go and if I can God willing 30 would be just great That is for today... |
